this was easier than i thought it would be.  i pictured begging, bargaining, and lots of work to convince him to do this.  but no, he was easy, "if it makes you happy", and he smiled all the way.  personally i think he enjoyed it more than i did.  now i have something more than us balancing our camera on rocks for a photograph.
